The book of Psalms is an incredible expression of true heart worship. It encourages the reader to give praise to God for who He is and what He has done. The Psalms affirm that God is faithful and emphasize the greatness of His name in a unique way. After being reminded of God’s magnificent character through the book of Psalms, what better way to express our adoration and reverence for Him than with some raw unplugged worship!
This retreat is all about prayer and worship in its purest form. Spending time in the book of Psalms and engaging in worship is a great way for our hearts to become receptive and conscious of the nature and character of God. In our free time we can be quiet and recognize those areas in our character where we have yet to allow God to touch and transform.
Retreat includes:
• two (2) nights accommodation
• breakfast, lunch and dinner
• workshops focused on praying the psalms and worship
• worship time with local worship leader
• use of instruments provided
• open mic worship and psalms dramatization
• alone time for personal reading and private worship
